Name & Qualification:
FDSC Veterinary Nursing
I qualified as a registered veterinary nurse in June 2020. I worked at Kentdale orthopaedic referral centre for 6 months, before joining the team at Norcross Vets. Leading up to studying to be a veterinary nurse I worked in Sweden and Denmark for 2years, where I looked after wild species of birds at a bird observatory and nature reserve.
Favourite aspect of nursing:
I really enjoy running my weight loss clinics and love seeing the progress my patients make. I also have a keen interest in nutrition and wildlife. I hope to pursue my interest in nutrition in the future with further studying and training to develop my knowledge.
I’m an outdoorsy girl who loves camping and hiking. In my spare time I enjoy gardening, spending time with my family and friends and planning adventures. I’m a big foodie, I couldn’t tell you a food I don’t like! I have a cat called Hobo, he used to be feral and very aggressive, now I always get cuddles and he’s lovely to be around.
If you were and animal what would you be and why?
I would be a panda because I’m always hungry, attached, but also empathetic.
