Name & Qualification:

Janine Dagger

Ward Supervisor

Qualified Animal Nursing Assistant

Student Veterinary Nurse

Studying at:

Myerscough College

Studying towards:

Level 3 Diploma in Veterinary Nursing

Nursing History:

I started working for Norcross Vets in August 2013 as a volunteer, I volunteered every Saturday for 6 months before I became a full-time member of staff. I then went on to complete my animal nursing assistant course and am now currently just finishing my final year at Myerscough college where I am studying towards my level 3 diploma in veterinary Nursing.

Favourite aspect of nursing:

I love all aspects of nursing from assisting the veterinary surgeon in the theatre to carrying out nurse clinics, but most of all I enjoy looking after all the inpatients admitted onto the wards and have a very strong passion for dermatology and laboratory work.

About me:

When not working or studying I love spending time with my partner and his 2 beautiful girls, and spending time with family and friends. I really enjoy being outdoors with my two gorgeous little girls Rogue who is a Staffordshire bull terrier and Bonnie who is a French bull dog.

If you were and animal what would you be and why?

If I were to be an animal I would be a wolf, as a wolf represents freedom, awareness, and confidence. The wolf can work alone or in a pack and can adapt to any situation, uses its intelligence to its advantage.
